Gymnastics Plus Open Gym Participation Policies

Participation:
It is the policy of Gymnastics Plus that anyone, regardless of age, entering the gymnastics area during any open gym session, must be registered as a participant or parent/guardian and pay the appropriate fee for such participation.

Participants are defined as anyone entering the gymnastics area, regardless of age, with the intended purpose to utilize the facility and available equipment.  Infants are included in this category as Gymnastics Plus must take precautions to ensure a safe environment for all. Providing a safe facility, quality open gym supervision, and comprehensive industry insurance is mandatory regardless of a participant’s age.  Infants, with their inability to cope for themselves add an additional liability in a gymnastics setting.

Guardians are defined as adults, whether parents, temporary or permanent guardians, or child care providers.  They are allowed in the gym area as supervisors only.  They are not allowed on any equipment, with the exception of the floor and pit.  Guardians are permitted into the gymnastics area as part of the participants admission cost.

Parent Responsibilities-Waivers, Attendance, Pick up:
A waiver form must be signed by a PARENT of LEGAL GUARDIAN for participation in open gym activities. Everyone entering the gym area must sign this waiver form.  All participants 22 years and younger who plan to use our equipment must wear a identifying wrist band to show proof of proper admission.

For all open gyms, with the exception of our Friday evening 8:30 PM Skill Open Gym, the Parent/Legal guardian MUST REMAIN in the building to help supervise the child during that open gym.

For the 8:30 – 10:00 PM Friday Skill open gym the participant must be 10 YEARS OF AGE or OVER.   Parents/Legal guardians are not required to stay at this session, but a waiver must be signed and a current contact number must be given in the event your child should need to leave early.
